Handicaps (max 28)
Handicaps are adjusted using society day results as follows:
First place = handicap reduces 10% (rounded) Second place = handicap reduces 5% (rounded)
Last place = handicap increases 10% (rounded) (max 28) 2nd last place = handicaps increase 5% (rounded)
If adjustment is exactly .5, for example 1.5, they will be round up to 2 when handicaps rise, and rounded down to 1 when handicaps fall.
There will be no countback, if 3 joint winners then 3 have 10% reduction, and no one has 5%. If 2 joint winners then both have 10% reduction. If one winner and two joint seconds, 1 has 10% and 2 have 5% etc etc etc. The same applies for last places.
Once handicap reduces to 10 or below, 5% reductions and increases will not be rounded. 9 placed 2nd becomes 8.55 playing off 9 etc.
